Even as Kaohsiung plans to import and showcase autonomous vehicles during the EcoMobility World Festival 2017 in Kaohsiung, the Kaohsiung city government is starting the conversation through the I City, I Care Forum. The two-day Forum will bring together private and public sectors to deliberate on the policy framework, technical requirements, and various case studies from all over the world on autonomous vehicles.

Self-driving shuttle bus will operate in an urban enclosed area during the EcoMobility World Festival 2017 in Kaohsiung. Arrival of such autonomous and futuristic vehicles is revolutionary for Kaohsiung. However, legal issues, use area, urban planning environment and systems need to be tackled before the full potential of autonomous vehicles can be realized. This Forum will address this issues as many cities are testing the use of autonomous vehicles.
